Signed up for hi5. Created an account, confirmed it by email, customized my profile page, checked out the place. Looks promising for shared, tagged and networked experience. Haven't made a network though, not yet.

35 perspectives on social networking See the list at http://www.socialcomputingmagazine.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=432 We have heard most of them before, and I think we can delete the phrase 'young people' when reading the list, don't you agree? Even though the number of young people tend to be more in chat rooms, on dating sites etc than the number of adults? The list was compiled by the PhD student Malene Charlotte Larson.

Installed the Social Bookmarks module for EE for social bookmarking at del.icio.us, digg StumbleUpon and Technorati, to enable this blog to enter into the symbolic chain of tagged experience in a networked environment.

Signed up for Snap Preview, real cool feature that makes surfing and networking efficient. For me, because I don't have to take screenshots of the documented sites, resize and save them for the web and then upload to them to my site. The preview takes care of that as it shows a screenshot when on mouse over the link. For the user, as users easily can spot a broken link and / or see if the link is worth following or not. The Snap Preview is a timesaver and great internet enhancer.
