From where do I speak? is a question that has been bugging me for quite some time. In an increasingly complex world, the answer is not simple. The parameters of present-day identity politics is reductive while not absent in the place from where I speak; I am Swedish, a woman, hetero, white, a PhD, mother, grandmother, single. According to my education, I am middle-class. According to my bank account I belong to the precariate. And I come from the working class. This is what is seen in the mirror, in the one-dimensionality of the mirror. But, there is more.

A wormhole also called Einstein-Rosen bridge is a passage, a “hypothetical topological feature that would fundamentally be a shortcut connecting two separate points in spacetime. A wormhole, in theory, might be able to connect extremely far distances such as a billion light years or more, short distances such as a few feet, different universes, and different points in time. A wormhole is much like a tunnel with two ends, each at separate points in spacetime” (Wikipedia).
But, as the guys at space dot com warns us: “be wary: wormholes bring with them the dangers of sudden collapse, high radiation and dangerous contact with exotic matter.”

Time, such a strange thing. The clock ticks along marking time in discrete units as years pass by, dots on a line from then to now and further on, which is the stuff of stories and narratives and history, but the undercurrent of time takes no notice. No, the undercurrent of time takes no notice of history, nor of the stories we tell. The undercurrent of time takes its own path, on a road less travelled.
Science says time is an extension in space and science says space is warped. So, if time is an extension in space AND space is warped, then time is warped. Pure logic.

freewheelin.nu is a site where e-lit, installations, digital art, blogs and other texts are linked in a hyperdimensional space of underpasses, highways, rivers, bridges, tunnels that intersect in the art project Plastic Spaces whenever possible.
And there is more. Image music text and technology intertwined in digital art and textual [dis]pleasures - in the erratic vibrancy, evanescence and intangibility of the text/work - that interfaces with the erotic body [electrified].
